It can be used as a daily riding bit or occasionally when the horse is particularly sensitive in the mouth due to a wound or recent dental care. The TRUST Sponge Bit is best used in combination with the TRUST Wound Elixer, a natural blend developed to support the healing of the horse’s mouth corners. For use, apply the elixir to the sponge mouthpiece and allow it to soak in before placing the bit in the horse’s mouth.
